This Privacy Policy explains how The Build Calc (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit thebuildcalc.com (the “Site”). We’ve built the Site to need as little of your data as possible: the calculators run entirely in your browser, there are no accounts, and we never ask you to sign up.

Information we collect

Calculator inputs. The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser to show a result. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Messages you send. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, and use them only to reply.

Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics or advertising services we use may automatically receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We may use them to understand how the Site is used and, where enabled, to serve advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculators will still work, though some features or ads may behave differently.

The Site may link to other websites (for example suppliers or manufacturers). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies separately.
